A drive to the new Bangalore International Airport (BIAL)
Last weekend, I had to drop my father-in-law at the new Bangalore International Airport. I had planned to use the Volvo for the to and fro journey, but at the last minute we decide to go for a drive with the entire family.
BIAL is 50km from Brookefields where we stay. We took the outer ring to reach Hebbal and then take the long drive to the airport. The drive was awesome, the road from Hebbal to the airport is world-class and the landscape along the route is virgin. That's something you can enjoy only for the next 5 years since urbanisation would have ruined it by that time.
In case you don't wish to drive but would prefer to use a Volvo, Meru, AirLift or Zoom Express, you might find my BIAL transport options page useful.
